How to List on TrueView Cards
Upload the right photos and a short video so TrueView Cards can generate accurate Scores and Reports
Setting up Your TrueView Cards Configuration
Start with getting a Lightbox (something like this) or a reproducible way to take high-quality photos and videos of your Pokémon cards. This is necessary for the platform to produce proper Scores and Card Reports.
Please remove all penny sleeves or toploaders before taking photos and a video of your card. That will allow for the highest quality outputs.
Taking Photos
You must take a photo of the front and back of the Pokémon card. Ensure it's fully in focus with proper lighting.
Other requirements include:
- Card fully in frame, no cropping
- No harsh glare, no filters
- Flat and straight (not tilted)
Acceptable formats include .png and .jpg. You may need to change your phone's settings to accommodate.
Taking Videos
To ensure the platform catches all surface marks, whitening, and other imperfections, all sellers must upload a portrait-oriented YouTube video of all angles of their trading card, like in the example video. The goal is for the light to refract on all parts of the Pokémon cards so the platform can properly output the TrueView Score and Card Report.
This is an example pattern:
- Front, hold still 1 second
- Slow tilt left-right to catch the surface
- Slow tilt up-down
- Flip to the back, repeat
- Quick corner sweep (small tilts, not zooming)
Please use the highest quality your mobile device allows, up to 4k at 30 frames per second.
If you'd like to keep your YouTube video private, you may upload it as Unlisted so only people with the link can view it. Here's a support article on how to do it.
Getting Paid
Once your card sells, your payout is deposited into the bank account you’ve linked via Stripe. TrueView Cards takes a 15% transaction fee, which helps cover payment processing, platform operations, and ongoing improvements.
