What are TrueView Card Reports?

A TrueView Cards Report is a transparent, itemized evaluation of a Pokémon card’s authenticity and condition, produced by TrueView Cards.

How do TrueView Card Reports Work?

Instead of a single unexplained grade, the report shows why a Pokémon card received its score by highlighting centering accuracy, surface quality, edges, whitening, and any visible defects.

Each report includes:

  • Confirmation of authenticity
  • Detailed front and back condition notes
  • Centering analysis with tolerances
  • A TrueView Score from 1 to 10

TrueView Cards combines high-quality listing media with AI computer vision analysis and expert review to deliver consistent condition reporting.

What are the different TrueView Card Scores?

Each card receives a TrueView Score from 1 to 10, where 10 represents the best observable condition, and 1 represents the worst. Scores are based on centering, surface condition, edges, corners, and whitening.

10

  • Centering is near-perfectly aligned on the front and back
  • Surface shows no visible defects under normal lighting
  • Edges are clean and smooth
  • Corners are sharp
  • No visible whitening

9

  • Centering is very strong with only minor deviation
  • Surface may show a tiny imperfection visible only at certain angles
  • Minor edge roughness may be present
  • Corners remain sharp
  • At most a pinpoint of whitening

8

  • Centering is slightly off but still visually balanced
  • Light surface marks, print lines, or faint scuffs visible on close inspection
  • Minor edge wear
  • Slight corner softness
